Online ticket sales will start at 10:00 am each day.
Tickets may be purchased on the CRE site starting at the following times: Thursday July 31, 2025 12:00 noon, Friday Aug 1, 2025 – Sunday Aug 3, 2025 10:00 am.

How do I purchase tickets?

You can purchase tickets by any of the following methods:

A. Scan the QR Code here with your phone and follow the prompts. This will lead you to the site to purchase your tickets. Nice and easy. You do need an email and a credit card to complete the purchase.

B. Go directly online to www.cre.ab.ca/5050 and follow the prompts. You do need an email and a credit card to complete the purchase.

C. Purchase directly from a 5050 seller on-site at BVJ. You do not need an email and now you can pay by cash, credit card or debit card. NOTE: If you purchase your tickets in-person, it becomes your sole responsibility to check your tickets to see if you are a winner and contact the CRE at 780-672-3640 or email at 5050@cre.ab.ca.

What if I am being blocked on my mobile device?

Accepted Answer

If you are in Alberta but are being blocked, the IP from your mobile device may be providing an out of province address, which would block you.

Try clearing your data on the mobile browser and try again. If the device is still being blocked using the cellular network, we suggest try connecting to Wi-Fi and purchasing.

You may need to “Enable Device Location Services” to get your phone to work.

How do I pay for my ticket?

Accepted Answer

A. Online you can only pay with a credit card. You will receive confirmation from the system and you will be emailed your ticket(s).

B. If you purchase from a 50/50 seller whether they are in a booth or roaming, you can pay by cash, debit, or credit card. You will receive a printed ticket at the end of the transaction.

Do I have to be onsite to purchase tickets?

You must physically be in Alberta to purchase tickets online. You do not have to be on the BVJ site if you use the online system but you must be in the province at time of purchase.

How can you ensure that someone is in Alberta while purchasing?

The website uses geo-fencing technology to ensure participants are in the province.

Are online sales and on site sales combined?

Yes. Sales online and on site are combined into the same jackpot for the day.

I purchased my ticket(s) online, but I haven’t received my tickets?

Accepted Answer

It is the responsibility of the purchaser to ensure that they have entered their correct e-mail address when making the purchase. If the ticket purchaser has not received their ticket by 9 am MDT the day following the 50/50 Licenced Event, they can email resend5050@cre.ab.ca before Noon MDT the day following the 50/50 Licenced Event to request that their tickets be resent. They must e-mail from the same e-mail they purchased tickets with. Tickets will be resent between Noon – 3 pm MDT the day following the 50/50 Licenced Event.

Can a group of people purchase tickets?

Accepted Answer

Yes but only there will only be one person’s name written on the cheque. If more than one name is written on a winning ticket stub, the prize will be awarded to only one of the individuals named on the ticket stub. Neither the Camrose Regional Exhibition (CRE) nor the Alberta Gaming Liquor and Cannabis (AGLC) is responsible for any disputes between the individuals whose names are written on the ticket stub.

When does the draw take place and how do I find the winning ticket number?

The draw will take place after sales close, at approximately 8:00 PM MDT at Camrose Regional Exhibition and Agricultural Society’s office (4250 Exhibition Drive Camrose, AB). The winning ticket number will be posted on the Camrose Regional Exhibition 50/50 website at www.cre.ab.ca/5050 no later than 11:59PM MDT on the day of the draw. The winning number will also be placed on the 50/50 booths located at the east gate, concert bowl, and various other locations on the grounds.

What if I win?

Accepted Answer

The holder of the ticket containing the winning number will have 7 (seven) days from the time of the announcement of the winning ticket number to present the ticket containing the winning raffle number to the 50/50 Licensee. If the ticket is purchased online, the Camrose Regional Exhibition receives the purchasers name, email address and phone number and will make every effort to contact the winner after 2 days.

If the winner purchases the ticket in-person, the name, email address and phone number are not collected, and it becomes the sole responsibility of the winner to contact the Camrose Regional Exhibition.

If the winning ticket was purchased on-site, the winner will need to check their ticket numbers at www.cre.ab.ca/5050.

Photo ID and the required paperwork will need to be filled out after verification of the winning number.
