A troop of police officers and their horses perform intricate formations and drills set to music. Don’t miss this uniquely Canadian experience.

CRE is delighted to play host venue to the 2025 RCMP Musical Ride in Camrose, August 13th & 14th, 2025.

The evening show will start promptly at 7 pm and feature pre-show entertainment leading up to the main event of The RCMP Musical Ride.

There is no reserved seating on the bleachers for general admission tickets. 

The RCMP Musical Ride

A symbol of tradition, honor, and pride, the Musical Ride is a Canadian icon recognized at home and abroad. The Musical Ride supports front-line police operations by building positive relationships, supporting recruiting efforts and promoting the RCMP’s image in communities in Canada and around the world.

The troop of up to 32 riders, who are all police officers, and their horses perform intricate formations and drills set to music, lasting about 30 minutes. These movements demand the utmost control, timing, and coordination.

  • 9:00am to 4:30pm – Free Public Admission to see the horses
  • 1:00pm to 4:00pm – Coffee and Donuts  – Thanks to our partner Safeway
  • 5:30pm – Doors open to ticketed guests
    • VIP Handicapped guests enter through the east gate on Exhibition Drive
    • Regular tickets park in the main parking lot
  • 6:45pm – Be seated in bleachers
    • Special seating for Handicapped and Mobility Challenged guests on West End of riding arena
  • 7:00pm to 9:00pm – Main performances – must be ticket-holder
  • 9:00pm – Barn closed to public

Pre-show entertainment includes

Bear Forest Dancers – a local Indigenous group featuring dancers, drummers and narrated education.

Battle River Pipes and Drums – founded in 2018, the Scottish band has 18+ members with bagpipes, snare drum, tenor drum, and bass drum.

On-Site Concession

A number of concessions will be available at the RCMP Musical Ride, including Venture Eats Food Truck and Catering.
