Rose City Fibre Fest
Rose City Fibre Fest: Camrose’s Own Festival Dedicated to all Things Fibre Related
Happening at the Camrose Regional Exhibition
May 2nd, 2026
l0 a.m. – 4 p.m.
The Rose City Fibre Fest is celebrating its 4th anniversary in 2026. This event celebrates all of the fibre and textiles crafts: knitting, crocheting, spinning, weaving, embroidery, quilting, beading, bag making, etc. It is held at the Camrose Regional Exhibition, which has free parking, and this year will be held on Saturday 2nd May from 10am to 4pm.
We started as an idea to support the Alpaca Show that used to be held in Camrose, and we have grown each year, with vendors coming from BC and Saskatchewan, as well as Alberta. We feature a lot of local vendors – bag makers, sheep and alpaca farmers, spinners, weavers and a local supplier of rare qiviut yarn and fibre (from musk ox in the NWT). Our vendors also sell raw fleece, fibre, hand-dyed yarns, hand-spun yarns, hand-made project bags, tools, notions, woven items and so much more. We’ve received applications for some exciting new vendors this year. We also have the services of Razor’s Edge Mobile Sharpening Service, who will be in the lobby from 9am to 3pm for all your blade sharpening needs.
We’re entirely non-profit.
Lots of vendors offering:
- Yarns
- Project Bags
- Tools & Equipment
- Fibre
- Embroidery Kits
- Repurposed Fabric
- …and so much more!
Our $2 entrance fee (or food bank donation) is given 100% to the Camrose Neighbor Aid Food Bank. We have also donated leftover funds to the Camrose Merry Christmas Fund. Since 2023 we have donated over $4,250. in cash and over 30 boxes of foodstuffs. We also collect donations at our Yarn Winding Station, which are given to the Days for Girls Canada, Camrose Team.
