Ag Drone Summit – CRE and CADA Partner to Develop New Agriculture Drone Learning Conference

Camrose, AB – Camrose Regional Exhibition & Agricultural Society (CRE) and the Canadian Agricultural Drone Association (CADA) are pleased to announce today a new agriculture focused drone learning conference featuring drone experts, hands-on sessions, four learning tracks and an optional third day of in-depth learning workshops.

The Canadian Agricultural Drone Association (CADA) is a newly formed association of drone experts from across Canada who are working together to ensure government regulation is updated to deliver the greatest impact from drone technology to the agriculture industry. CADA President, Markus Weber commented “CADA was formed to create a forum for the agricultural drone industry to share knowledge and was prompted now by the need for unified input on government regulation of drone use in agriculture. The organization and board were developed in June 2025 and looks forward to partnering with CRE to produce a world class learning experience for Agriculture Drone users next April in Camrose.”

“This new partnership with CADA and co-producing the Ag Drone Summit in April 2026 is a perfect example of the CRE’s four strategic goals and reshaping our Agricultural Society to be future focused on what the next generation of Agricultural producers need education around.” added CRE Board President, Brent Byers.

The Ag Drone Summit will happen April 7th to 9th, 2026 at the CRE in Camrose, Alberta. Details on the conference offerings, sponsorship and exhibitor opportunities are available on the website agdronesummit.com or by checking out upcoming events at cre.ab.ca.
