This evening the Alberta Government issued a statement notifying that due to the Wildfire situation it is entering a Provincial State of Emergency.
CRE will support those persons affected by Mandatory Evacuation Notices in the following way:
- Free Camping at the Camrose RV Park for 7 days or until the Evacuation order is lifted and it is safe for residents to return.
- Free Livestock and Trailer Storage for 7 days or until the Evacuation order is lifted and it is safe for residents to return. We have Barn B that can accommodate livestock under roof if required.
Residents affected by Mandatory Evacuation Notices should register with the Alberta Government and inform them of the location they are seeking shelter.
If you require camping please call the Camrose RV Park at 780-678-2888. The office will be open at 9 am Sunday morning.
If you require assistance with livestock please call 780-878-8384 to make arrangements.
We would like to thank our first responders and everyone working together to ensure all Albertans can stay safe. Hopefully, the rains will come soon to offer them some assistance.
