Camrose, AB – The health and safety of our employees, event organizers and guests are our number one priority. Yesterday, the Alberta Government announced Enhanced Public Health measures in response to controlling the outbreak of COVID-19.
As the CRE is in a community under Enhanced Status and classified as a Conference Centre, we will be closing the CRE Site effective immediately to the public. This closure
will be in effect until January 4th, 2021. While devasted to be shut down again, we fully support the steps the Alberta Government and Chief Medical Officer of Health are taking to try to control the outbreak and bring the numbers down.
Unfortunately, this means our CRE Garage Sale MINI, originally scheduled for December 5th, will be postponed to a later date when it is safe to host public back in our buildings. The good news is our Virtual Teddy Bear Disco will still run on Friday, November 27th at 7pm! We would love for you to join us and show your support for CRE.
No one wants a return to business more than CRE as we now face month nine with no revenue. As a Non-profit Agriculture Society our ability to sustain ourselves without revenue is becoming very limited. We strongly recommend every citizen to follow the Enhanced Public Health Measures for the next three weeks
CRE will continue to monitor the situation, consult and communicate with local and national health officials and take other steps, as required. For guests interested in more information, please visit the Alberta Health Services website.
