Camrose, AB – Camrose Regional Exhibition & Agricultural Society is thrilled to welcome back Big Valley Jamboree to our site from July 28th to 31st for the best County Music festival in Canada. CRE will once again run the CRE Big 50/50 online during all four days of BVJ.
“We had a successful test year of the online 50/50 platform in 2021 and look forward to running CRE’s Big 50/50 online during BVJ weekend” said Brent Byers, President of the CRE Board of Directors. “The monies raised during this 50/50 are vitally important to keep our FREE-RE/Youth and Agriculture Programming alive.”
Due to the 50/50 program staying online there will also be a change in Volunteer requirements and staffing. CRE will be recruiting Volunteers to work shifts in the seven Nevada Booths that are placed around the festival site for all four days. CRE Members get first opportunity to sign up for any CRE Volunteer position. Once that cycle is complete, the Volunteer sign up page with any remaining shifts will be posted on the main CRE website under Volunteer Opportunities.
CRE will be recruiting and hiring 18 Ambassadors to work during the entire festival to promote the online 50/50 and encourage people to buy their tickets online. This will be a contract position for the weekend and the job description and details will be found on the CRE website under Employment starting June 9th. Applications will be accepted until June 17th.
