Vermeer’s Dairy Farm Tour
Vermeer’s Dairy is an innovative dairy farm just east of Camrose. The Vermeer Family runs the farm and this tour farm is a unique opportunity to visit a dairy farm with excellent management and care for the cows. Have you ever wondered about how the milk gets from the farm to the grocery store? What happens behind the scenes of getting the butter to your plate? Join us on March 31, 2022 to find out!
We will meet at the CRE parking lot at 1:00pm sharp and leave for Vermeer Dairy by bus. Part of the tour will be outside so please dress warmly and wear boots that you don’t mind getting dirty!
CRE’s Training Tomorrow’s Leaders program targets high school aged youth. The purpose of this program is to teach skills not taught in school that will benefit the youth throughout their life. The pandemic has changed the way we are running this program this year and we have decided to open it up to older ages for a small fee. Training Tomorrow’s Leaders Workshops are free to youth aged 14-18. All ages older are able to participate but must pay a $10 fee.
