Camrose, AB – The health and safety of our employees, event organizers and guests are our number one priority. As the restrictions in Alberta with Mass Gatherings continue, the CRE buildings and grounds will be closed to all public until April 30, 2020. We will update at that time on any future openings/events.
We are evaluating the opening of the Camrose RV Park with our partners at the City of Camrose and Alberta Health and will communicate any updates once an opening day is authorized.
The staff of CRE are working practising “Work from Home” if their jobs allow it and safe social distancing and increased hygiene if it does not allow working remotely. They are taking this time to plan and develop exciting new CRE events for Fall 2020 and beyond. Our work on preparing the site for the best Country Music Festival in Canada “Big Valley Jamboree” will start in late April/early May.
We will continue to monitor the situation and take the necessary steps needed in consultation with Alberta Health Services, the City of Camrose and other stakeholders to keep CRE Staff and our guests safe and prevent the spread of the virus.
