Camrose, AB – The health and safety of our employees, event organizers and guests are our number one priority. Given the current situation and uncertainty with COVID in the community, the CRE Board of Directors is disappointed to announce that the 2021 Oktoberstock event will be cancelled and return Saturday, September 17 th , 2022.
“CRE, like all agriculture societies in Alberta, has had some very challenging months with many tough decisions through this pandemic. We were very much looking forward to bringing the community together for music, food and celebration but the risk to the community is just too high” said Brent Byers, President, CRE Board of Directors. “CRE is only interested in producing events where everyone can celebrate comfortably, and it is safe for all members of the community to come together.”
“I know we had put together a unique experience that the community would have enjoyed with great artists, great partners and some unique offerings” commented Executive Director, Dianne Kohler. “After 18 months of planning it is heart breaking to postpone but we know it is the right thing to do for the health and safety of the community and look forward to producing an amazing event in September 2022. Refunds will be sent directly to all ticket holders, and you can expect to have the refund in 10-15 days.”
Any questions or concerns can be directed to Executive Director, Dianne Kohler at 780-672-3640. Thank you for your support of the CRE.
