When it comes to Alberta Music Festivals, the Camrose Regional Exhibition (CRE) is easily one of the best venues and locations in the province or Canada for that matter. For over 25 years the CRE has successfully hosted Big Valley Jamboree (BVJ) and we’re proud of it.

The Perfect Place for Alberta Music Festivals
In addition to the main stage and concert bowl which features space for over 20,000 people, we have room for an additional 10,000 festival goers in our outdoor beer garden/saloon facility. This beer garden can accommodate large bands or groups. Prices for our venues are very competitive, because our location is based outside of the higher prices of the city.
Safe & Secure
Our entire facility offers some of the best security of any festival site in Alberta, with a six foot high wire fence surrounding our entire grounds-overall we have 115 acres of established infrastructure. The CRE is also perfect for weekend camping with space to accommodate over 7000 campsites. On the main festival grounds, there is a secure fence surrounding space for over 600 campers with some campsites featuring electrical outlets and outdoor washroom facilities. Just imagine hosting your EDM Festival with up to seven stages or your Classic Rock Music Festival over two or three days knowing that you have the security to keep your guests safe, the infrastructure to keep your festival well organized and your guests have access to all of the shops and services that the City of Camrose has to offer.

The CRE annually hosts up to 22,000 people per day during BVJ-and the City of Camrose is equipped to comfortably accommodate all visitors. Camrose has plenty of affordable hotel and BNB spaces, restaurants, liquor stores not to mention security and a large, functional hospital to handle any emergencies. With a successful record of hosting one of Canada’s longest running Country Music Festivals with BVJ, the CRE is one of the best venues to host Alberta Music Festivals or a cultural festival. Only 45 minutes away from Edmonton and just over one hour away from Red Deer – the CRE’s Festival location is close to the center of Alberta, making it easy for festival goers to get here from all parts of Alberta and Saskatchewan.
